The Aurora Shooting Raises More Questions than Answers

As typically happens in a mass shooting, the media goes nuts blasting 2nd amendment rights and the event gets politicized to the hilt. As a fierce defender of the 2nd amendment, I support open carry and concealed carry. Furthermore, I don't believe that a person should needs permission from the government to defend themselves and their families with firearms from violent predators.

With 12 confirmed dead, including a 6 year old girl, and another 58 with gunshot injuries, here's what is known.  The shooter has been identified as James Holmes, a neuro-science PHD student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine who was obtaining his higher education on a government grant.

It doesn't appear that the shooter walked through the front door of the theater of the theater as reported by a federal agent to CBS.

He apparently gained access by entering through an emergency exit door inside the theater.  No one can gain access through the emergency exit doors from the outside.  Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that James Holmes had to have had an accomplice inside the theater to let him in.

While the media reporting is biased, politicized and inconsistent, some media outlets have reported that someone inside the theater let the shooter in.

Witness: Someone let gunman inside Colorado movie theater

It's even been reported that there were multiple shooters.

ABC Reports Multiple Shooters at Theater Massacre

However, according to CBS, multiple eye witness testimonies conflicts with what a federal law enforcement disclosed to CBS, here.
While some witnesses said the gunman entered through a side-door emergency exit at the front of the theater, a federal law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Holmes bought a ticket and went into the theater as part of the crowd.
Holmes, who was dressed in black SWAT gear according to witnesses, was supposedly carrying an assault rifle, a shotgun and a Glock handgun. Also, his vehicle was parked in the rear of the theatre and is reported to have contained "One rifle, two handguns, a knife, a bullet proof vest, a ballistic helmet, a gas device, a gas mask, military SWAT clothing and unidentified explosives were also found in Holmes’ car, a law enforcement source told CBS News.", here.

Many questions are still unanswered, including where a college student who was going to college on a government grant got the money to buy thousands of dollars worth of guns, gear and ammo.  Also, it's definitely strange that nobody in a supposedly dark theater (the shooting started 20 minutes into the film) attempted to subdue the shooter(s).  However, there was mass confusion inside the theater and many theater goers just assumed that the shooting and commotion was all just part of the evening's entertainment.

At the-scientist.com, it was reported that the University of Colorado School of Medicine's Neuroscience public access website suddenly went password protected, here.
On Friday, the website of the University of Colorado School of Medicine Neuroscience program—which contains contact information for students and faculty—went from being publicly accessible and searchable to being password protected and thus inaccessible by the general public. Numerous calls made to other principal investigators and laboratory personnel in the neuroscience program went unanswered.

Several news outlets reported Friday that Holmes was indeed a graduate student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. “The University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus can confirm that Mr. James Holmes was in the process of withdrawing from the University of Colorado Denver’s graduate program in neurosciences,” according to a university statement. “Mr. Holmes enrolled at the university in June 2011.”
What goes on at a college neuroscience department?  It's widely speculated that the federal government funds a lot of neuroscience research for the exclusive benefit of the military, the CIA and other government agencies.  Westernjournalism.com reported, here.
There is already conjecture that James Holmes may have been involved in mind-altering neuroscience research and ended up becoming involved at a depth he never anticipated. His actions clearly show a strange detachment from reality, indicating he was not in his right mind. That can only typically be accomplished through drugs, hypnosis, or trauma (and sometimes all three).

His behavior already reveals stark inconsistencies that question the mainstream explanation of events. For example, he opened fire on innocent people but then calmly surrendered to police without resistance. This is not consistent with the idea of “killing everyone.”...

...this guy was equipped with exotic gear by someone with connections to military equipment. SWAT clothing, explosives, complex booby-traps… c’mon, this isn’t a “lone gunman.” This is somebody who was selected for a mission, given equipment to carry it out, and then somehow brainwashed into getting it done.
While some, especially law enforcement, are alleging unsubstantiated conspiracy theory nonsense relative to anything reported that is in disagreement with an official government sanctioned and sanitized version of the event, a quick Google elicited a Scribd.com piece titled "Research Funding Contacts in the Federal Government", here, and contain a list of a lot of federal agencies including 5 Department of Defense agencies who provide funding for neuroscience research.

More importantly, it is not known if Holmes was under the influence of any drugs, including psychotropic drugs and experimental drugs, or if he was part of a university or government experiment.

To add another element of weirdness to the story, a Drudge headline states "HIS GUN JAMMED" and links to this Washington Post article.

Colorado shooting spree could have been worse; shooter’s gun jammed, official says

CBS also reported that the shooter "was dressed “entirely in black” and was wearing gas mask along with a ballistic helmet, a tactical ballistic vest, ballistic leggings and throat and groin protection in addition to black tactical gloves."

While it is clearly obvious that Americans don't have much in the way of answers or information, one thing is abundantly clear. The government intends to cover up the truth.

JUDGE SEALS 'BATMAN' SHOOTING CASE
Prosecutors fear public scrutiny could 'jeopardize the ongoing investigation' An Arapahoe County Court judge has granted a request to seal the case against James Holmes, the 24-year-old shooter who killed 12 and wounded 50 during a screening last night of "The Dark Knight Rises."
The motion, filed in Arapahoe County court, asks for the records in the case to be sealed, including search warrants, affidavits, orders and the "case file."
It looks like we will never know the truth. To rush into court and demand that the records be sealed convinces me that the government and the University of Colorado are hiding something that they don't want us to know.
