Did Trump destroy Trumpism?

When Donald Trump shocked the world by defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016, that momentous event trigged an all out war on Trump, his supporters and We the People.   The elites immediately amassed an army of media sycophants, Democrats, rino Republican, government officials, intel officials, FBI, DOJ and others to destroy his presidency.  The goal was clear:  Destroy populism and the crazy notion that We the People actually elect our elected leaders!

For many years, Americans have suffered debilitating economic humiliation at the hands of the political class. Outsourcing of high paying American jobs become the calling card of the lobbying class that fund political campaigns.  The open border lobby brought in tons of low wage folks from low paying grass/cutter/maid jobs and all the way up to educated tech workers and engineers.  American labor was deemed too damn high priced, hence Americans workers needed to be replaced with foreign labor, domestically and even internationally via substantial outsourcing of the American economy to foreign nations.  China was by far the biggest beneficiary of the master plan to destroy America's working/professional class prosperity.

What we are now witnessing are the destructive effects of globalism and oligarchy which is really just a master plan to impose industrial feudalism and a society where workers are serfs who serve their oligarch masters and the bureaucrats controlled by the oligarchs.

It's a road map to enslavement and the mass subjugation of human societies that has never existed in human history.

Trump's populist appeal of MAGA was the magic that Americans could embrace because it was the first time in many years/decades where a presidential candidate could actually connect with the working class voters and relate to their middle class concerns.

Trump was spectacular in identify issues that have plagued America's long suffering working and middle classes.  He talking about tax cuts to boast the economy, reinvigorate domestic manufacturing, renegotiating trade agreements that hurt American worker and ending our endless cycles of perpetual wars. A Man of the People!  There really hasn't been one since JFK.

Trump's messages in 2016 mobilized the voters.  The crowds and energy were unlike anything every seen in a presidential election.

From the moment Trump defeated Clinton, the media, Dems, elites, oligarchs and everybody declared war on him...he was going to drain the swamp.

Well Trump's legacy does not include draining the swamp but he had 2 big hits that also happen to be my top issues.  On the foreign policy front, Trump didn't start and new wars and actually attempted to wind down some existing wars.  On the economic front, he was a whole lot more successful with his tax cuts that invigorated economy.

While I believe that election fraud contributed to his defeat in Nov. I also believe that a lot of people just soured on Trump.  They didn't have a problem with Trumpism and his policies but they definitely had serious problems with Trump's personality.

While I do view Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton as evil because they are, I don't view Trump as evil.  However he can be a world class asshole which is something that will become his enduring legacy.  His ego is so huge that it's offensive to many.  He takes credit for everything good that happens and blames bad things on others. According to Trump, he's a perfected deity who never errs.

His disrespectful treatment of employees in his administration including his cabinet is just appalling.  His attacks on Jeff Sessions and others are totally unwarranted. I can't stand James Mattis but Trump's attacks on him triggered something in the old neocon marine to fight black and fight back ferociously.

A lot of Trump's tweets were cringeworthy, nauseatingly cringeworthy.

The American people don't have a lot of expectations of their president but they do expect dignity, professionalism and diplomacy.  Trump failed on all three.

Trump literally handed his enemies the ammo to shoot down his presidency.

Also, Trump made the same idiotic mistake that all Republican make.  They shameless pander to the base because they erroneously believe that the base will get them elected.  Laughingly, the GOP base is too small to win an election.  Elections are won by folks who can persuade independents and other voters to crossover.  Trump did this in 2016 but by 2020 he forgot what helped him win in 2016.

The final tragedy is that Trumpism had the potential to achieve so much good for America and the world but the arrogance, ego and childishness resulted in a presidency of buffoonery.

STILL, Trump, warts and all, is still a much better and far more moral man than corrupt to the core Pedo Joe with dementia.
