Arrest and Prosecute the IRS and the Dems: How the IRS is Squashing the 1st Amendment

The scandal involving the admission by the IRS that it has specifically targeted groups that advocate for liberty and constitutional governance should be extremely disturbing to every American.  Even more reprehensibly sinister is that Obama and the Democratic Party are at the forefront in the outright assault on the 1st Amendment and political activism.  As the Democratic Party increasingly bares its totalitarian stripes, the sheer horror of it all is quite reminiscent of the Nazi Party, Stalism, Maoism and other ruthless statist regimes.  Of course, I'm not in any way implying that the Republican Party is any better.  The GOP is indeed also responsible for the wholesale squashing of civil liberties.

The Washington Post has even reported on IRS-gate and how the agency is persecuting groups that are critical of the government.

While both Republicans and Democrats approvingly seek to invoke the hideous Patriot Act as a pretext to detain, kidnap and torture anybody who is perceived as an enemy of the state, the exploding IRS scandal only adds to the emerging truth that America has morphed into a Nazified Police State, complete with gulags and torture.

The 1st Amendment is unique in that it actually contains 5 specific rights that the Federal government cannot infringe upon:  freedom of religion, free speech, freedom of the press, freedom to peaceably assemble and the freedom to petition the government.  The exact wording of the 1st Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

These are powerful rights that the Federal government has no legal authority to trample.  Yet, the IRS, the Democrats and the Obama regime are tramping every one of them by targeting religious groups and patriot groups for persecution and attempting to squash their right to free speech, their right to politically advocate using media venues, their right to assemble and their right to petition the government.  Moreover, the IRS, an agency under the direct supervision of the Treasury Department, admits to intimidating, harassing and even threatening groups that exercise their constitutional rights.

By any definition, the acts of the government to squash opposition to the government do indeed constitute a blatant infringement of the heart and soul of American styled liberty as defined by the Constitution and its specific limitations of Federal powers.

Accordingly, the government and the IRS-Treasury Department are engaging in criminal activity.  In a sane and just world, the criminals would be brought to justice through criminal prosecution.  But in America today, the Gestapo criminals are above the law, above the constitution and exempt from criminal prosecution for their criminal activities.

Anybody who still believes that America is the Land of the Free is so utterly delusional that they have voluntarily submitted to the militarized federal police state and its Nazi tactics and propaganda.  This is a very bad sign that does not bode well for the future of liberty in a nation that now consistently and openly squashes liberty.
